Its hard sometimes to swallow when your work goes unappreciated. First day back at work today, and the bonus payouts came out last week. I have known whats been coming for the entire year really, because our bonus structure is dumb, but it still stings when you see the final result. this year i got $407 (0.60% of my gross pay - yes - point six PERCENT), bringing my three year total bonus at the firm to $1607 (0.86% of my gross pay). I always say that money shouldnt be an issue, but i guess it is. But I guess I should be thankful for all the things i do have in life - sounds cliche, but its true, its just tough to be happy when you don't feel appreciated.
