Ups and Downs?

This year could potentially be a year of career ups and downs for me. Take for instance, the golf course. Career year - posted a career low of 80 this year. Previous career best was probably around a 90 taking into account improper scoring (read: generous) in previous years. Tennis - career low record of 2-4324954 (or something like 8). However, we ended up on a high note, taking the final match of the season in a THRILLING 7-6 third set tie break, where we came back from 2-6 (4 match points) in the tiebreak to take it 9-7. If there was any kind of an audience (which there wasn't), they would have been on their feet. Then there was roller hockey this year, and how we ended off the year. I'm still steaming about how we ended up out of the playoffs, so if you want to hear the story, ask Jean or Carlos. STUPID. just STUPID.

However, the knee is starting to feel the effects of the long summer on the grass and pavement and "sport court". I now sport a permanent gimp (no, not gimp mask). A trip to the orthopaedic surgeon is in order to check it out. It's been nagging for some time (since that ball hockey game in Uni, where i tore the ligament, and kept playing - ahhh stupid stupid child...), so i'm not optimistic about this. Perhaps my dad and I will have matching fake knees by year end.

So, who's up for a round this weekend....
