I'm sorry I lost your kite...

Too lazy to write this on my own, so I'll just rip it off of L.'s site.

Flew a kite today, which I haven't done in a long time. So I got a new kite yesterday, and Lawrence and I took it out today. Unfortunately, there was little to no wind (per Environment Canada, wind was 0 km/h)! So it was actually quite difficult! But we did get the kite up for some short flights after lots of running to create our own wind resistance. And then we had this one awesome run, where all the string was let out. Nice!

But of course, we decided to push our luck. We decided to try for one last run. It started out ok, but required a lot of running... which is fine until Lawrence ran into a tree... or the kite did. He avoided the first one, but the kite is now stuck in a tree in the park by my house. Hilarious!

Maybe we'll play football next week. I'll hold the ball, and Lawrence can run and try to kick it... :P
